Running the Editor

 

The rigiedit graph editor program takes various command-line options. On a Unix platform, you must be in an X session (preferably with a Motif-compliant window manager). Since rigiedit is an X client, you can run it on a remote host machine and, as usual, have the interaction directed to the display you are using.

rigiedit\ [-h] [-fd] [-env configfile] [-i scriptfile] [-dm domain] [-s host[:port]]

Options for rigiedit:

• -h

  Print a terse list of rigiedit options.

• -fd

  Use fast arc drawing, at the expense of accuracy.

• -env configfile

  Load the configuration file, configfile, upon startup (§).

• -i scriptfile

  Load the RCL script file, scriptfile, upon startup. This file is loaded after the files specified by the configuration parameters RIGIRCL and RIGIURCL (in sequence).

• -dm domain

  Specify the default domain model (§).

• -s host[:port]

  Specify a host on which the mbus software message bus is running and, optionally, the associated port number it is using.
